  • Avoid consumption of certain drinks

  • To prevent heartburn, it is recommended that you avoid consuming soft drinks, caffeinated drinks such as coffee and tea, and alcoholic drinks because they can irritate your stomach.
  • Quit smoking

  • Smokers are known to be more at risk of heartburn than those who do not smoke.
